October 2, 2015 – Lafrance Hospitality Company hosted a ceremonial groundbreaking at their newest hotel endeavor in Plymouth, NH. Standing on freshly paved asphalt, and addressing a small crowd at the foundation of the building, Richard Lafrance, President and CEO, Lafrance Hospitality Company, welcomed local, regional, and state businesses and officials to the new Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott hotel development.
On hand to welcome Lafrance Hospitality Company to the area were representatives from the Plymouth Board of Selectmen, the Central New Hampshire Chamber of Commerce, New Hampshire Electric Cooperative, local businesses and non-profits, State Representative Suzanne Smith, and State Senator Jeanie Forrester.
“This is an exciting day, and we think this will be a great addition to a great community,” said Richard Lafrance. “Plymouth is ready for a Marriott hotel, and we’re ready for Plymouth.”
Lafrance Hospitality Company’s newest hotel is located in Riverside Landing, a retail development off Tenney Mountain Highway (Route 25/3A) in Plymouth, NH. The hotel will feature 85 guest rooms including 18 luxury suites, flexible workspaces and free WiFi throughout the hotel, free hot breakfast, fitness center featuring cardio theater equipment and free-weights, and indoor heated saline mineral swimming pool to name a few.
Close proximity to Plymouth State University, regional ski areas, forests and lakes makes Plymouth, NH an ideal location for the quality of services that a Marriott hotel offers their guests. The Fairfield Inn & Suites Plymouth, NH property will the tenth hotel in Lafrance Hospitality Company’s growing portfolio and their third hotel property in New Hampshire. The hotel is expected to open in August 2016.
